Your index is yours
A debug sends the error, the code around it, the file's path and a few project facts. Indexed files are stored under your account and used only to answer your own debugs.

What counts as a debug session?
One debug session = one error you send to DebugAI and get an answer for. A request we turn away because it is not an error, or one that fails on our side, is handed back and does not count. Proactive scans have their own daily limit and do not count against your debug quota.
What happens when I hit the daily or monthly limit?
On Free, new debugs stop at the limit and start again at the next 00:00 UTC; your history stays visible. On Pro, the 1,000/month cap is soft: you keep getting analysis past it, with a one-line note in the dashboard so you know. A separate abuse limit, well above anything a person types, exists to stop runaway scripts; if you ever reach it the message says so and tells you to email us. We will never silently throttle you mid-debug.
When does usage reset?
Free tier resets every day at 00:00 UTC. Pro and Team counters reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC, the same schedule the dashboard shows under Settings. Teams pool usage across all seats.
Can I switch tiers or cancel anytime?
Yes. Upgrade from the upgrade page and Pro starts as soon as the payment clears. Cancel anytime from Manage billing: you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for, then drop to Free.
What is the founding rate and do I qualify?
Accounts created before November 1, 2026 are tagged for the founding rate: full Pro at $9/month, locked for life. It stays claimable until December 7, 2026, then it is gone and we will not bring it back. Check your eligibility on the founding page; the server decides, not the browser.
Why is Pro $12?
DebugAI is a specialist for one thing: tracing errors across your codebase. It is the companion tool you add to the AI tools you already use, not a replacement for them, so we priced it to be an easy add. If it saves you one debugging hour per month, it pays for itself many times over.
What payment methods do you accept?
Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and major credit/debit cards. Payments are processed by Paddle, a global Merchant of Record, meaning Paddle handles VAT, GST and sales tax automatically wherever you are, and you get a proper invoice for expense reports. Pricing is in USD only; Paddle converts at checkout for your local currency.
Do you handle tax for my country?
Yes. Paddle (our Merchant of Record) automatically calculates, charges and remits VAT, GST and sales tax in every jurisdiction we sell into: EU, UK, Australia, India, US, Canada and everywhere else. The price you see on this page is the price you pay before tax; tax is added at checkout per your country.
